This petite pink cottage Christmas village house has the storybook outline people picture when they think of a glitter village: two steep gables, a tall chimney, lavender shutters, and gold windows. A reindeer tied with a red ribbon waits by the door next to a frosted bottlebrush tree hung with tiny ornaments. It stands 7.25 inches tall.
It is cardboard finished in lilac pink glitter, in the vintage putz house tradition, so the color shifts between pink and lavender as the light changes. That makes it the bridge between a blush village and a purple one, and a smart second purchase after a pink house from the petite Cody Foster line.
What is a putz house? It is a small glittered village house, traditionally paper or cardboard, in the style families once set up under the Christmas tree. This cottage carries that look with a pastel twist.
Perfect for: pink Christmas villages, mantel and windowsill displays, nursery shelves, collectors, and holiday gifts.
