Place the topper on the central top branch, securing it with the attached clip, wire, or sleeve. For a heavy topper, anchor it to a sturdy branch and use floral wire for extra support. Add the topper first, before the upper ornaments, so it sits straight and balanced.

A classic Christmas mantel mixes hung stockings, garland or greenery, candles, and a few decorative figures or a banner. Hang a stocking for each family member, layer greenery along the top, and add height with candlesticks. Keep a consistent palette so the mantel feels styled, not cluttered.
