Most Christmas village houses come in one look, snow-dusted and rosy. This one is painted in blue and white toile with 22K gold applied by hand, which puts it in a chinoiserie or coastal room instead of a traditional one. The little shop is hollow, with cut windows, so a tea light or a string of fairy lights set inside throws warm light out through the glass.
Perfect for: Christmas mantel decor, blue and white holiday schemes, entryway consoles, chinoiserie interiors, holiday hostess gifts, and heirloom Christmas collections.
A village house is meant to be collected rather than bought once. Each piece is made to order, so a village built over several seasons will read as one set, and adding a second building next year is the normal way people use these.
Start or extend a set with the blue and white toile Santa, or see more Christmas trees and houses.
