Hook 'em on the tree. This Texas Christmas ornament is a Longhorns football helmet in glass, the kind of piece that makes a Saturday in Austin feel close even in December, whether your family tailgates on campus or cheers from three time zones away.
The shell is a glossy white with the burnt orange Longhorn silhouette on the side, exactly where it sits on game day. A white face mask wraps the front, the inside is lined with sparkling black glitter that peeks through the bars, and a gold cap and charm crown the top for hanging.
An officially licensed University of Texas Longhorns ornament from Old World Christmas, it pairs with the Longhorns pennant and football ornaments for a full set of burnt orange gear on one branch.
Perfect for: Longhorns alumni, current UT students and new admits, Texas football fans and former players, proud parents and grandparents, tailgate hosts, graduation gifts, and anyone whose closet is mostly burnt orange.
Old World Christmas mouth-blows its glass ornaments into carved molds, then hand-paints and glitters each one, using techniques that began in the 1800s. It ships in a keepsake box, so it packs away safely in January and comes back out next December.
