Minnesota knows a thing or two about winter, and Golden Gophers fans know how to keep it cheerful. This University of Minnesota baseball cap ornament adds maroon and gold to the tree for alumni from the Twin Cities to wherever the job took them.
Its glossy maroon crown carries the gold block M with a darker gold outline, painted large across the front, and small eyelets dot the top seams. The golden brim is stitched with rows of gold glitter that shimmer under the lights. The gold-tone cap and charm echo the brim, and the ornament stands 2.25 inches tall.
An officially licensed Minnesota Golden Gophers ornament from Old World Christmas. The process is old-fashioned in the best way: mouth-blown glass, hand-painted colors, a sprinkle of glitter, and a keepsake box to store it in.
Perfect for: University of Minnesota alumni, Gophers students home for break, recent grads, moms and dads of a first-year student, Minneapolis and St. Paul families, Minnesotans who moved somewhere warmer, and office swaps where maroon and gold is the house color.
