Eight vanilla-scented erasers, each about an inch and a half, covering the whole of December in one small box. They are the classroom-party workhorse: cheap enough to hand out by the fistful, small enough to disappear into a gift bag or the toe of a stocking, and useful in a way a plastic ring never manages. A child will actually carry one to school in a pencil case, which is more than can be said for most stocking stuffers for kids. Split the set across eight party bags, use them as December prizes, or add one to a teacher gift. Contains small parts, so not suitable for children under six.
Do you wrap stocking stuffers? There is no rule and both approaches are common: wrapping stocking stuffers stretches out the unwrapping, while leaving them loose lets the stocking be tipped out all at once. Small novelty items are often left unwrapped so they are visible poking out of the top of the stocking.
