This bow vase makes a few garden stems feel like a finished arrangement. Each one is thrown by hand into a tapered shape, glazed a soft creamy white, and tied at the neck with a sculpted bow whose ribbon tails are brushed in 22K gold luster.
What is a bud vase used for? It holds one to three stems, such as a tulip, a sprig of lilac, or a single garden rose, so it works on a narrow mantel, a bathroom ledge, or at each place setting where a full bouquet would crowd the table. A small ceramic bud vase like this one also looks finished on a shelf with no flowers at all.
Susan Gordon Pottery brought the shape back by popular request. The small size measures 3.5 inches by 2.75 inches; set two or three down a table for a quick centerpiece.
Perfect for: bridal showers, baby showers, Easter brunch, Mother's Day, spring luncheons, and hostess gifts.
