Car balloons skew loud, primary, and firmly aimed at a race track. This one takes the other road, a retro car shape in pink foil, also sold as mylar, with the soft curves of a car built long before spoilers. That makes it useful well past a car themed birthday party: it reads just as happily at a road trip send off, a sweet sixteen, a drive in movie night, or a Palm Springs style shower. Foil holds the moulded bodywork, so the roofline and wheel arches stay defined rather than bulging. Cluster it with pink balloons for a soft palette, or set it against black and white for contrast. How do you deflate a foil balloon?
Slide a drinking straw into the valve to hold it open, then press the air out gently, working from the top of the balloon down toward the valve. Deflating this way leaves the foil intact, so the balloon can be folded flat, stored, and reinflated for another party.
