Black Watch tartan is the quiet plaid: deep navy, forest green, and black, with none of the shouting red. This tartan dog collar is cut from soft cotton flannel on the bias, so the plaid runs on a diagonal around the neck.

The flannel wraps a nylon webbing core the maker rates at more than 1,000 pounds of pull, with box stitching at the stress points, gold-tone zinc alloy hardware, and a solid brass D-ring. Choose from four sizes for necks 8 to 26 inches. The print is credited to artist Cassidy Demkov. Made in the USA.
