Every Queens kid knows the color of a Mets cap by heart, and now it gets a branch of its own. This New York Mets baseball cap ornament is the gift for the fan who has worn blue and orange through every season, good and otherwise, and still shows up for Opening Day with a grin.
The crown is a satin royal blue with the orange interlocking NY logo front and center, exactly where it sits on the real thing. Blue glitter traces each panel seam up to a tiny button on top, and four glittered stitch lines curve across the brim. Up top sits the signature gold OWC cap and charm, looped and ready for a branch. It stands 2.25 inches tall, small enough to nestle deep in the branches yet easy to spot from the couch.
An officially licensed New York Mets ornament from Old World Christmas. The glass is mouth-blown into a mold shaped like a ballcap, then painted and glittered by hand, and it comes in a keepsake box for safe storage between seasons.
Perfect for: Mets fans in all five boroughs, Queens natives living elsewhere, season-ticket holders, new grads starting out in New York City, Little League coaches, Secret Santa swaps at the office, and a first ornament for the newest fan in the family.
In short, this is a blown-glass New York Mets baseball cap Christmas tree ornament and an easy holiday gift for any Mets fan. Find the rest of the dugout among our sports Christmas ornaments.
