How do you use a bath bomb? A bath bomb is dropped into a tub that has already been filled with warm water, where it fizzes as the baking soda and citric acid in it react and dissolve. One bomb is normally used per bath, and it is added after the water is run rather than under the tap, so the fizzing lasts longer.
