ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARTY THEME IDEAS

What's the best way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, you ask? With a Leprechaun-approved St. Paddy's bash, of course! If you're planning to party this March 17th and need a little celebration inspiration, then you've struck gold! We've come up with the perfect St. Patrick's Day party theme ideas, and we're sharing all the details on must-have decorations, treats, and party supplies.

And lucky you, because these St. Patrick’s Day party ideas are so versatile! You can get two celebrations in one by switching out a few St. Patrick's Day party decorations. That means a festive fête for adults can turn into a darling St. Patrick's Day party for kids in a pinch!

Let's dig into the classic clover-themed party first. When picking out decorations and tablewarego green! We went with this spectacular green balloon garland, and layered it over an ombre paper backdrop. (If you’re wearing green, you might just blend right in!)

P.S. This backdrop is totally DIY-able! We didn't make it ourselves this time around, but it's possible with tissue paper, dye, and string. We live for a good DIY St. Patrick's Day decoration!

The key to this party is bringing in the luck-o-the-Irish to the United States, so grab all the shamrocks and gold coins you can find! These standing four leaf clovers are so charming, and they look great as a decorative centerpiece on any party table. They're also a shamrockin' option for St. Patrick's Day home decor!

Gold chocolate coins are also fantastic to add to the party scenery. Not to mention, they're a tasty little treat if you're running out of St. Patrick's Day party food ideas on this feast day!

We aren't messing around when we say this party is all about clovers. We served our green food and St. Patrick’s Day desserts on these adorable shamrock paper plates and napkins. We layered our clover leaf tableware over large green napkins and plates for this theme, and added shiny gold cutlery

If you're throwing a St. Patrick's Day party for adults, we recommend serving a few boozy beverages in these fringe gold cupsbecause what goes better with corned beef and cabbage than a nice tall green beer? We also added a few shamrock drink swizzel sticks so those St. Patrick's Day party cocktails can be stirred to perfection!

For an extra playful touch, we cut this St. Paddy's banner and laid the classic Irish, "Kiss Me" saying over top. Just another easy and unique way to stylize your party table even more!

Now don't worry, we haven't forgotten the perfect St. Patrick's Day party favors. We adorned each place setting with a lucky little shamrock lollipop. It's not over 'til it's clover, so be sure to send your guests home with one of these tasty treats!

Let's head over to the other side of the rainbow and greet our next St. Patrick's Day party idea! This magically delicious theme is easy to achieve by adding a few more decorations.

Who said you can't have pink St. Patrick's Day party supplies? We love the look of pink and green together, so we draped this fabulous bunting fan garland over our original backdrop. And we couldn't pass up this adorable rainbow cloud balloon! It's a necessity if you're throwing a St. Patrick's Day party for little Leprechauns in search of a pot of gold!

This party theme is all about rainbows, so anything colorful and bright is a must! We're obsessed with this rainbow table runner and the whimsical look it gives to any party space. You can also get crafty and cut it up to make some adorable DIY St. Patrick's Day party invitations!

To carry on with a little more color, we placed a few honeycomb decorations around. It's a super unique and inexpensive way to decorate and add dimension. And since every rainbow leads to a pot of gold, we kept those shiny chocolate coins on the table amongst the new additions.

To switch things up, we popped a little pink into our place setting. Those classic four-leaf clover plates look phenomenal paired over these pastel pink ones! We also added other pink tableware and cutlery to tie the color scheme together. Trust us, any green St. Patrick's Day food or treats will look even more delicious served on all this pretty pink.

The real lucky charms at this place setting have to be the rainbow napkins! We love incorporating little details like this to make our theme read loud and clear.

There's also so much you can do with these napkins for easy St. Patrick's Day crafts! Just imagine how adorable they'd look strung on a DIY banner, used in a Leprechaun trap or scavenger hunt!

Since we're suckers for St. Patrick's Day treats, we also added a tasty green lollipop on each shamrock shaped plate. Candies like this make excellent party favors, but if you want an alternative, we recommend giving out St. Patrick's Day coloring pages!

This is a rainbow-themed party after all, so coloring is encouraged. We carry tons of fun posters and art supplies for your little leprechauns. (Hello, easy St. Patrick's Day activities).

Hopefully you've gotten some tips and inspiration on pumping up the Paddy this season. We wish you the best of luck whilst celebrating this Irish cultural holiday and in all of your St. Patrick's Day party endeavors!
