BEST 2ND BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

Planning a milestone birthday party for your soon-to-be two year old? Second birthdays are two much fun, especially since your little one is older and more perceptive of the partying. So without further ado, here are our favorite themes for turning two! 

1) Ballerina Two-Two Party

If you have a petite prima ballerina, this idea is tutu perfect for their second birthday party! For decorations, we suggest a balloon garland in various shades of pink. But if you want to keep things simple, this foil ballet slipper balloon is also magnifique.

As for additional accents, we love these pirouette plates layered with these ballerina slipper napkins. And since smashing cake is so one-and-done, we recommend having ballet-themed cupcakes for this 2nd birthday theme. 2) Choo Choo, He’s Two Train Party

All aboard! Here’s another terrific vehicle-themed party idea for any train obsessed two year old. All you really need are some train shaped plates, napkins, and party garlands. (Bonus points if you can throw your party on an actual train!)

If you’re wanting to take a vintage twist on this theme, feel free to try out this adorable DIY! Simply round up some old picture books, then stencil, cut, and hang up any phrase you’d like. We went with the classic “Choo Choo,” but the options are endless.

3) Two The Moon And Back Party

Looking to throw an out-of-this-world 2-year old birthday party? A space-themed celebration is always a guaranteed blast! We recommend decorating with rocketship balloons, moon and star garlands, and all things holographic.
