Start with a tablecloth or runner as your base, then layer dinner plates with a smaller dessert or cake plate on top. Add napkins in a coordinating pattern, and finish with candles down the center at varying heights. Keep to one color story, black and blush or black and amber both work beautifully, and stop at two patterns so the table reads styled rather than busy.
