Halloween Plates

      Plan on two sizes: dinner plates around ten inches for the main spread, and dessert or cake plates around seven inches for treats, cake, and the candy table. One of each per guest covers a sit-down party, while a dessert-only bash can skip the dinner size entirely.

      Paper Halloween plates are best for a crowd, since cleanup takes seconds and the designs carry the theme. Reusable plates suit a family tradition you bring out every October. Many hosts mix the two, reusable at the dinner table and paper at the dessert and candy stations.
