There’s no better way to celebrate the 5th of May than with a fabulous Cinco de Mayo fiesta! We’ve salsa’d our way through lots of Cinco de Mayo celebrations over the years, so if you’re looking for the best Mexican fiesta ideas–you’ve come to the right place.

We’re kicking things off with this no-drama llama-themed Cinco de Mayo party idea. The key to this fiesta? Bright colors, fringe garlands, and lots and lots of llama decor. To get this party started, we hung more colorful crepe paper garlands and banners. We love alternating textures and colors, so a papel picado garland would also fit this fiesta beautifully. The more hanging decorations you have, the better!
And, to make the space feel more cohesive, we put a bouquet of flowers that matched our color scheme on top of an adorable paper mache taco as the centerpiece.
