DISCO THEMED NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY IDEAS

The new year will be here before we know it, and we're breaking out the confetti and sparklers to celebrate the only way we know how... with the perfect New Year's Eve party, of course! We love all things disco themed, so we’re ringing in 2022 with dazzling mirrorballs, sparkly silver and gold decorations, exciting party favors, and balloons, balloons, balloons! 

So grab your champagne flutes and get ready to toast, because we’re sharing all the must-have New Years Eve party supplies for a celebration that’ll put Times Square to shame!

We transformed our warehouse into the ultimate party destination, complete with disco balls, giant number lights, golden balloons, and a decked out airstream! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect disco theme party set-up. But wait, it gets even better...

We pumped up the party by setting up this brilliant black bounce castle from our friends at House Party Collective! Who knew a bounce house could look so sleek and stylish? 

These bouncy party additions are guaranteed to bring hours of fun for all ages, and now we can't imagine throwing a New Year's Eve party for kids without one! To add to all the jumping joy, we threw in some inflatable disco balls and a few balloons for throwing and catching.

To jazz things up, we draped a few sparkly garlands in classic silver and gold. And here’s a little tip, offset your hanging decorations to keep things looking elevated.We also incorporated a stunning balloon arch created by the talented ladies at Pop Park City. They went above and beyond and even spray painted a light layer of gold over some of the silver balloons to create a shimmery copper color. 

And since a shiny new year means shiny decor, we made sure to load up on even more gold and silver details. Tinsel decorations are our go-to for NYE, so we also hung a glistening gold chandelier amidst the garlands.

This show-stopper adds lots of glitz and glam to any swanky soiree. Not to mention, it’s inexpensive and easy to use again and again for all kinds of parties. It really only takes a few decorations like this to transform any space into the perfect party place.

This table setup has us dying to throw on some 70's music and have a little New Year's Eve disco party! We stuck with those classic metallic hues for tableware, and added lots of sparkly mirrorball details. These adorable disco tumblers also make quite a statement, and would be excellent for champagne toasting. 

 

Three cheers for these lovely gold foil dinner plates! They pair brilliantly with this unique shooting star platter underneath, and these dreamy star napkins alongside. Layering tableware always looks classic and stylish, and we especially love alternating our party colors to bring the whole place setting together! 

For other tableware items, we recommend shiny silver cutlery, and these wonderful holographic paper cups. This stellar collection would also be wonderful for a groovy disco birthday party or star themed baby shower.

 

 

You can't ring in the new year without a few NYE party flags! These Happy New Year flags make the best centerpieces when placed in a tumbler or mirrored vase, and they can easily double as photo booth props and inexpensive party favors. 

For other table embellishments, we added some flashy mirrorball trees, and a shimmery star garland. We finished it off by sprinkling lots and lots of sparkly confetti in our color

And if you're wanting to add a little spark to your New Years Eve events, grab a few celebratory sparklers. These star shaped sparkler wands are a definite fave among the kids, but adults get a kick out of them too! It also doesn't hurt that they make the cutest addition to your NYE pics!

Hand them out along with some festive sparklettes, champagne party crackers, and deluxe surprise balls, and you’ll have the most poppin’ party on the block.

Since NYE photoshoot opportunities are crucial, it would be a huge party foul to pass up on these fun sparkly glasses. After all, everyone knows the best kinds of parties are all about getting goofy and letting loose! 

If glasses aren’t your thing, try some festive party hats or glitter crowns. They come in convenient sets, so there’s no excuse not to have one at every place setting.

Now let's talk party horns because how else are we going to make some noise when the ball drops and the clock strikes midnight?
