A Christmas music box is one of the few holiday objects that earns its shelf space by doing something rather than simply sitting there. This one is themed to Frosty the Snowman, which means the tune arrives already loaded in everybody's memory before the first note plays. It comes from CGB Giftware, catalogued as item GB03003. Put it on a mantel, a hall table, or the shelf by the stairs that people pass a dozen times a day, and it becomes the thing guests pick up without being invited to.

They come out of storage the same every December, they do not compete with the tree for an outlet, and they end up attached to a particular room in a particular house until somebody eventually inherits them.
