OUR MERRY FIRST SALT LAKE CITY EVENT

‘Tis the season for Christmas pop-ups! It’s been two years since we painted the town pink (literally) and moved all of Bonjour Fête’s online business to SLC. From the moment we arrived, we have dreamt of all the exciting events we could bring to Salt Lake City locals.

So, we were thrilled that we were finally able to open our warehouse doors this holiday season! We had the pleasure of hosting the legendary Luna of Arlo’s Cookies for a special Christmas Pop-Up and Holiday Baking Event. It was a day full of festive fun and we can’t wait to host many more classes in the future.

Luna shared her expert artistry with us. She taught a fabulous, beginner-friendly, holiday cookie decorating class in our kitchen space. We learned a variety of different decorating techniques to create beautiful Christmas cookies with intricate designs and festive colors—and, of course, BOWS!

It was an unforgettable experience that inspired us to expand on these new skills, even after the holiday season. (After all, these darling royal icing cookies are on-brand for us, all year long).

It was such a joy to bring the Bonjour Fête shopping experience to a brand-new setting. We wanted our SLC space to align with our traditional aesthetic, so we ensured all of our Christmas and holiday party supplies were displayed beautifully.

The pink tree and cheerful music added to the magical ambiance of our pop-up shop. As customers entered, their eyes widened with delight, taking in the sight of the beautifully decorated space. Our tables were lined with glass Christmas trees and nutcrackers. The shelves are organized according to theme and color scheme–a Bonjour Fête trademark.

We’ve learned that customers love the simplicity of navigating through the products this way. They can find exactly what they're looking for, and get some styling inspiration at the same time. It's like stepping into a winter wonderland, with each section telling its own unique story.

The joy on our guests' faces was truly heartwarming. They eagerly explored every nook and cranny, discovering hidden gems and finding inspiration for their own holiday decorations. The festive atmosphere created a sense of community, as customers shared their excitement and exchanged ideas with one another.We took great pride in curating a collection of very merry products that brought merriment and cheer to our customers' homes.

In the end, it was the joy and satisfaction of our customers that made all the hard work worthwhile. We had created a space where they could immerse themselves in the magic of the season, find inspiration, and create stunning baked goods to share with family and friends. Our glass Christmas trees and nutcrackers may have adorned the tables, but it was the smiles and laughter of our guests that truly made our store come alive.

Not only did this event put us in the holiday spirit, but the entrepreneurial spirit, too! We have loved getting to know our Salt Lake City customers, and we can’t wait to meet even more as we continue to grow here.
