GIRLS BALLERINA BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

Looking to plan an en pointe ballerina birthday party for your tiny dancer? Well, you’ve chasséd your way to the right place! We threw the most beautiful ballerina party, complete with pretty pink decorations, ballet-themed tableware, and a magnifique mini bounce castle. So, read on for all the details, because we’re giving you the inside scoop on how to throw a ballet birthday party that is tutu cute!

Every prima ballerina needs a balloon-covered bounce house. When we saw this adorable mini inflatable castle from House Party Collective, we knew we needed to include it in our ballerina-themed birthday party. Bounce houses are always a hit for kids’ birthday parties, and they’re especially fitting for little ballerinas to practice their sautés and jetés.

We decorated the castle with a pink balloon garland detailed with fabulous tulle bows, courtesy of Pop Park City. Then, we danced this lovely ballerina garland over it to complement the various shades of pink in the balloons. This pretty little garland is a Bonjour Fête favorite, so be sure to put it at the top of your ballerina party supplies list!

The talented girls at Pop Park City also added these tulle-covered jumbo balloons to the party. Our little ballerina went head-over-pointe-shoes for these balloons, so we know any birthday girl would adore them too.

If you’re up for a DIY party decoration, these adorable balloons are easy enough to make yourself! Simply inflate a couple of white jumbo balloons, and layer a few pieces of pastel pink tulle over them. Then, secure the edges of the balloon at the base with a pink ribbon or clear elastic, and voilà!

Now, let’s dance our way over to this pirouette-perfect tablescape. We paired these scalloped ballerina plates over a large pastel pink striped plate. Then, embellished with a matching ballet-themed party cup and coordinating striped napkin.

No ballerina birthday party would be complete without these cute-as-can-be ballet slipper napkins. Not only are they perfect for dance-themed parties, but they’d also be wonderful for Nutcracker-themed holiday parties! Too early to be thinking about Christmas? Pas du tout!

Lastly, we completed our tablescape by draping some pink ribbon along the center to resemble the ties on ballet slippers. Then, we sprinkled some pastel colored confetti over the top. Adding small details like this is an excellent way to fill space and elevate the look of any party table.

We consider layered, tulle-inspired cupcakes to be the most elegant dessert, so we recommend including them in your ballerina party. We whipped up some pink vanilla cupcakes and decorated them with ballerina cake toppers. The best part is that this set also includes matching pink-and-white cupcake tins, so you’ll have everything you need to create this sweet treat. So dainty and delicious!

While those toppers would look fabulous as birthday cake decorations too, we took a different spin and used a ballerina from our garland. Doesn’t she look exquisite surrounded by these Happy Birthday candles? Oh la la!

And don’t forget the ballerina crowns! Sparkly gold mini tiara clips are the perfect party favor, and little accessory to add to ballerina buns. We placed one at each table setting along with a lovely ballerina jewelry charm.
