Job Description

As the Bonjour Fête Product Development Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating and executing all new proprietary product creation while ensuring that brand visions, quality standards, and budgets are met and maintained.


  • Oversee development process of new products, from ideation to completion; including corresponding with manufacturers and vendors, as well as owning and monitoring process timelines, and finally, ensuring projects are realized within the given budget. Responsible for communicating any changes that take place to the product timeline or budget to all necessary parties.
  • Apply knowledge of fabrication, treatments to meet design vision, merchant requirements, and company financial goals
  • Evaluate and resolve technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues
  • Ensure that all products developed meet the quality standards of Bonjour Fête and potential collaborators
  • Manage product testing and adherence to product safety requirements
  • Coordinate with freight carriers around product delivery from manufacturers to distributors
  • Responsible for cultivating, researching and negotiating with manufacturers to ensure Bonjour Fête is using the best supplier as well as proceeding with the best pricing structure to meet or exceed margin targets 
  • Research and fully understand all packaging and copy requirements needed for product types
  • Maintain accurate product information within the Bonjour Fête system during all times of product life cycle
  • Provide financial reports of each project to management to ensure approved budgets are met
  • Monitor and track samples used for development approvals 
  • Manage and implement best practices for development initiatives
  • Organize and schedule regular meetings with necessary parties, internally and externally, to ensure unnecessary delays in development are avoided 
  • Identify potential new product and/or collaboration opportunities
  • Collaborate on innovative solutions to bolster the future of the business


  • Knowledge and experience within the development and production process
  • Extreme attention to detail and maintaining accuracy
  • Strong organizational and communication skills 
  • Negotiation skills (role will be responsible for recommending suppliers and optimizing the cost structure)
  • Thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with strong leaders 
  • Knowledge of Airtable a plus
