SHIPPING & PAYMENT

SHIPPING TO THE UNITED STATES

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2-3 business days. Please note that we do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or U.S. nationally observed holidays. Tracking information will be e-mailed to you once your parcel has shipped.

All orders are shipped from Los Angeles, and your delivery date is dependent upon the receiving address. Standard rate delivery estimates are provided below:

Orders to West Coast addresses typically take 2 to 3 business days.

Orders to Southern and Midwestern states typically take 4 to 5 business days

Orders to East Coast addresses typically take 5 to 7 business days

We offer expedited shipping services through UPS. Any order placed before 12PM will be processed the same day, any order placed after 12PM will be processed the following business day. For additional information please contact hello@bonjourfete.com

Shipping times are not guaranteed and can vary based on location, time of year, and weather. Bonjour Fete is not responsible for any delays due to the carrier.

SHIPPING TO CANADA & INTERNATIONALLY

We can ship to almost any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some items such as sparklers cannot be shipped internationally. If shipping information is not provided for your country during checkout, please email us for a shipping quote at hello@bonjourfete.com.

Your shipping total will be calculated based on weight and destination. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. The general amount for duties and taxes fee is about 20% of the dollar amount of the merchandise. However, this is a general guideline and varies depending on the country to which the order is being shipped to. For additional information on pricing, please contact your customs office for specific amounts and percentages. We are obligated to declare all items as merchandise, and will not mark items as "gift."

Bonjour Fete cannot control and is not responsible for any duties/taxes applied to your package. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for your package to clear customs. Customs policies vary by country, please contact your local customs office for further information. Bonjour Fete is not responsible for any package delayed by customs processing.

Standard shipping to Canada can take up to 15 business days in some cases, so if you have a specific event you need the supplies for please email us and we can get you a quote on expedited shipping.

ALL THINGS BALLOONS!

HOW LONG DO YOUR BALLOONS LAST?

Our standard latex balloons can last anywhere from 8-12 hours. 3 foot latex giant balloons float for about 36 hours before they start to sag. We add Hi-Float to our latex balloons which can double the longevity, however it does not work on confetti filled balloons. Mylar balloons last 2-4 days on average. Bubble balloons last about a week.  

*Once balloons leave our store or delivery van, we are no longer responsible for their lifespan. Helium is sensitive to temperature & humidity which will affect the balloons longevity. All balloon sales are final.

Our Air-Filled products such as indoor balloon garlands will last for weeks! So be prepared to have them on your hands for awhile.  

DO YOU DELIVER?

Delivery is available for the greater Los Angeles County for all orders over $100. Delivery fee is priced according to mileage and availability. On-site balloon styling and installation is available for an additional cost.

WHAT TYPE OF BALLOONS DO YOU USE?

We are proud to use 100% natural biodegradable latex balloons made in the USA. As with other natural products, latex breaks down under normal environmental conditions. The latex balloons used in our stores decompose at about the same rate as an oak leaf!

Mylar balloons unfortunately are not biodegradable but can be re-used or brought back into our stores to be recycled.

Our balloon weights are made in house and are also completely biodegradable.

CAN YOU FILL BALLOONS I ALREADY HAVE?

Yes, we can! Please refer to our pricing chart in our balloon catalog- helium pricing will be quoted according to size and type.

WHAT OTHER SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

WEATHER & SUN DAMAGE

Balloons fade in the sun and oxidize creating a more matte appearance. Please do not leave your balloons in the car. Over exposure to sun or extreme heat will pop them.  

Inversely, cold weather also effects helium ballooons. Helium floats due to it being thinner than air, but when it gets cold it makes it dense and therefore heavier than air, causing it to shrivel and sink.

If you’re ordering our Inflated Foil Balloons, please be aware they may look a little less plump on arrival. Once returned to the warmth, you’ll hear them start to make little popping noises where the helium is expanding the foil balloon back to its rightful state.

Unless the weather is completely calm, your balloon will move with the wind, although all of our balloons are weighted, we cannot guarantee that they will be able to sustain a windy day.

WHAT BALLOONS DON'T LIKE

Key things your balloon will not like:

            • Coming into contact with sharp or hot objects
        • Claws, beaks and any other playfully determined pet
        • Being dragged through doorways
        • Getting trapped in car doors
        • Big or little hands that forget to hold on tight (balloon weights required for ALL mylar)
        • Extreme weather
        • Bees (Believe it or not we have watched bees land on balloons and then pop them!)

CEILING BALLOONS

If you’re looking to do a balloon ceiling yourself, or want to release any balloons onto a ceiling, make sure to check the surface before placing them.

The smallest of things, such as a chip in the paintwork, can make a balloon pop, so run your hand across and check for any areas which you think could be problematic. If your room has spotlights, make sure they have been turned off for 2 hours and are completely cool before placing any balloons.Do not turn any lights on that will get hot as this will result in your balloons bursting.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS? 

Unfortunately at this time, due to COVID-19, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for the safety of our customers and staff. Starting April 1, 2020 all purchases are final sale. For any items purchased before this date that you were wishing to return, we will offer returns and exchanges once we are able to operate at full capacity once again. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding!

 

 

WHAT IF AN ITEM IS INCORRECT/MISSING/DAMAGED FROM MY ORDER?

First, please accept our sincere apologies. We take great care in packaging your order and if we make a mistake, we want to correct this error immediately. Please notify us as soon as possible at hello@bonjourfete.com to resolve the issue.

 

WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY REFUND

Once your return has been received and it complies with our returns policy, we will refund you by your original payment method. Payments can take up to seven working days to process depending on your bank or payment provider. Returned items will be refunded excluding the original cost of shipping.
