Traditionally, graduation party decor has been designed around blacks, golds, and silvers. But since we like to keep things fun and fresh at Bonjour Fête, we took a much more colorful route and celebrated the class of 2022 with rainbow hues. After all, the future is bright so why shouldn’t your decor be too!?

We’re all about using a wide variety of colors when choosing party supplies for modern grad parties, because a multicolor palette pairs easily with any school colors. That’s why this collection of tableware is ideal for graduation parties; it features all sorts of bright and bold colors to mix and match with other decor.

We also incorporated a bouquet with a classic “Congrats Grad” foil balloon, and layered it with a few latex ones to add more dimension to our garland. 

If you’re looking to keep it simple, pick up a few graduation-themed balloons and create your own arrangement, it’s just as fantastic! Quick tip: cut up a tassel banner and wrap it around the base of the balloons for a stylish touch. 

And while we’re on the topic of banners, let’s break down another fun DIY-graduation decoration. We repurposed the giant Alphalit 2022 numbers from New Years Eve, and Pop Park City created some rainbow tassel decorations using a few Happy Birthday garlands. 

If you want to try this out, the process is simple. Just cut out some cardboard and layer the tassels horizontally across the length and width of the numbers. We also topped our display with an adorable graduation cap balloon mosaic. Hats off for unique graduation decorations! 

We loved this rainbow color scheme so much that we needed it in flag form. These 2022 graduation flags are a must-have for any grad’s big day. Not only do they make fabulous decorations, they’re also wonderful photo props, yard sign embellishments, and party favors.

Now let’s go back to this all-tassel no-hassle tableware set-up. We started it off with this stunning tablecloth, and ran a rainbow striped runner across the center for an extra burst of color. Next, we set each place with a grad cap place mat. 

These hats look so perfect with the tablescape that you almost can’t believe they’re designed to be wall decor. Secrets out, we got our creativity on and transformed a photo booth decorating kit into a totally grad-ical place mat set! So, depending on your party needs, this graduation decorating kit is brimming with possibilities. 

Additionally, we set the table with our “Congrats Grad” dinner plates, matching “Follow Your Dreams” napkins and rainbow stripe party cups. In some places we layered a small “The Best Is Yet To Come Plate” to give the table more variety. However, these plates would look just as magnificent displayed on a dessert table. We’re already craving those sweet graduation treats! 

No grad fête is complete without a few celebratory party favors. Mini piñata favors are always a good option, and these smiley face guys are too cute to pass up. Fill them with any kind of candy, small trinkets or dollar bills, and place one at each setting for your guests to pop open and take home!
